I performed an upgrade from XP Service Pack 2 to Vista and the program groups of the applications I had installed are empty. They appear in Programs in Control Panel. Is there some trick or check box I'm missing or do they need to be re-installed?

Program Groups are empy
Maybe try a new user account to see if your prgrams populate in the new account.
