In Win95, I could not get my favorites to show up except empy in the start menu, containing an empty "links" folder. The favorites folder in the c:\Windows directory was marked with a blue star and the links in it did not show up by going to the start menu... favorites. I had a folder on my desktop named "favorite"

I should empy the "Temp" folder, shouldn'tI? Definitely, especially before installing any new software. Can I delete files that haven't been used in 2 years? That depends, what type of files are they? System files should be left alone. Files you created can safely be deleted. I wish there was a program that could

You can use, say, emPy, of course, to generate the input to any of the above. And there are other templating engines if you want something else. Or... there are miriads of choices out there. Instead of reportlab, does it make sense to generate small reports using emPy or ReST with or without use of YAML?

GetIfTable returns empy/wrong wszName
The Installshield program gets to approx 93%, and quits with the following message. "The decompression of %s failed. There may not be enough free disk space available in the temp directory." I do not understand this, the temp directory is empy before the install begins, and I was not aware of a limit to the

I am new to the group
I often find empy boxes on the taskbar. They look like the standard taskbar application box, but instead of having a program name they are empty. I click them and they disappear. This only started happening recently. I've installed a few new apps, but am not sure why they would cause this behavior.

Michele "empy" Porcelli ----------------------- e...@iol.it I have written such a program in BASIC. I assume you are reading in the data to decode from a disk file? You must make sure that when the file is written that a space is inserted between letter codes, otherwise you have an unsolvable problem. Woody.

Once one mail program takes mail out of your mail spool file, there is no longer any new mail. Simple as that. If you start a different mail program, it's going to go to your mail spool file, and find it empy, as the first program you ran has read it all. I would suggest sticking to one mail program.

Mail strangeness
You can easily create a zero-byte file which is your base file to work off of (or an empy mdb which you can append to which you store in your app). Hope this helps. I need to create a Access Database in my C# program. Is there any sample codes that I can follow. Thank you very much in advance! Pengyu.
